  CRI NEWS

Our NIH T32 training grant for a program in Cancer Biology has been renewed for five years (2008 - 2013)!  The training grant provides stipends for four graduate students and six postdoctoral fellows; US citizenship or permanent residency is an eligibility requirement.  To be considered, students must be working under the supervision of a faculty member who is a training faculty on the training grant.  Calls for nominations are made periodically.  Currently, nominations for postdoctoral trainees are particularly welcome.  Participation of under-represented minority trainees is encouraged.

  CRI RESEARCH OPPORTUNITIES

Graduate students and postdoctorals interested in cancer research should view the research interests of the CRI faculty by using the quicklink on the home page.  They should contact faculty of interest directly to inquire about the possibilities of research positions.  For students or postdoctorals who are US citizens or permanent residents, stipend support may be available on a competitive basis through an NIH Training Grant in Cancer Biology.  To be considered for training grant support, candidates are nominated by their mentors or proposed mentors.   Training grant support is typically for three years (predoctorals) or two years (postdoctorals).
